This program has been started in 11 districts of Punjab. ECCE kits in 34,000 schools, 13,600 teachers, 3,400 invigilators, provision of age-appropriate furniture for 34 head teachers, and 3,400 school council members trained in ECCE education and management. To foster a passion for learning and to enable a smooth transition from ECCE to Pre-Primary, the grades include one, two, and three.
