Free Solar Scheme For The BISP Disqualified People
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is launching a Free Solar Scheme For the BISP Disqualified People. This scheme is launched to provide electricity relief to the deserving and poor people of Punjab. Those who are troubled by high electricity bills.
Under this scheme, it is planning to provide solar systems to 50 thousand people across Punjab. Which can be the beginning of a new and better era. The scheme is launched with a budget of around Rs 125 billion, which will benefit 50,000 consumers. After qualifying in this scheme, people will selected through a lottery and will be provided with the latest batteries, inverters, and solar panels in a solar package.
In the past few years, people have been suffering from problems due to the continuous increase in electricity prices in Pakistan. Backwards and middle-class people had to sell even their jewellery to pay electricity bills and many went into debt.
The Chief Minister of Punjab launched the Free Solar Scheme to provide relief to these people so that instead of expensive artificial electricity, the people can get maximum benefit by using the electricity obtained through natural means.

A lottery will held to distribute the solar system. سرکاری مدد حاصل کرنے کے لیے رجسٹریشن ایک اہم عمل ہے۔ وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ درخواست گزاروں کی تعداد 50 ہزار سے زائد ہونے پر۔ سولر سسٹم کی تقسیم کے لیے قرعہ اندازی کی جائے گی۔ اس کا مطلب ہے کہ تمام اہل لوگ اس اسکیم سے فائدہ نہیں اٹھائیں گے، اگر آپ اس اسکیم سے فائدہ اٹھانا چاہتے ہیں تو جلد از جلد رجسٹر کریں تاکہ آپ قرعہ اندازی میں شامل ہوسکیں۔
مفت سولر سکیم کے تحت آپ کو حکومت پنجاب سے سولر سسٹم حاصل کرنے کے لیے پہلے اپنی رجسٹریشن کروانا ہو گی، اس کے بعد آپ اپ سولر سسٹم حاصل کر سکیں گے۔ محترمہ مریم نواز نے کہا کہ جن لوگوں کا ماہانہ بجلی کا بل 100 یونٹ یا اس سے کم ہے وہ پہلے مرحلے میں شامل ہوں گے۔ اس اسکیم میں رجسٹر کرنے کے لیے آپ کے پاس کچھ دستاویزات ہونا ضروری ہیں۔
جس میں آپ کا قومی شناختی کارڈ، موبائل نمبر، گھر کا مکمل پتہ، بجلی کا بل وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ اپنے قریبی پنجاب بینک میں جائیں اور اپنی رجسٹریشن مکمل کریں۔ آپ کی درخواست کی حیثیت، آپ کی اہلیت، اور اسکیم کے بارے میں تمام معلومات آپ کے فراہم کردہ نمبر پر فراہم کی جائیں گی۔

Who Is Eligible For Free Solar Scheme
Eligibility criteria for the Free Solar Scheme are very simple and short.
- The applicant must have a valid National Identity Card with his current address in any city of Punjab. Customers from any province other than Punjab have declared ineligible to benefit from this scheme.
- Only those consumers who consume 100 units of electricity per month or less are eligible for this scheme. Users having more than this will not be able to benefit from the free solar scheme.

Free Solar System Detail
The Punjab government has announced to provide the one-kilowatt solar system to the first customers under the free solar scheme. Which will include two solar panels, a battery, an inverter, and all the necessary things, that are required to run it. You can use this solar system for fans, small motors, lights, etc. Its battery will be able to keep charging for up to 16 hours.
The start of this solar scheme will also benefit the electricity service providers. It can be expected that the Punjab government will take steps in the interest of electricity consumers as well as electricity service providers.
