Increased The Quota of Electric Motorbikes
The Punjab government has announced to increase in the quota of electric motorbikes. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz wants to double the number of electric motorbikes under the scheme. He said that in the first phase of this scheme, electric motorbikes will be provided to students of various universities with low markup.
He said that an examination of the application process related to electric motorbikes and the procedure for redressing the complaints of the students will also be provided. For the electric bikes team, only those students will be able to join, who will complete their registration.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz while presiding over the meeting said that the purpose of electric motorbikes is to increase the facilities of the students. Maryam Nawaz said that in the first phase of this electric motorbike project, motorbikes will be provided in all major cities of Punjab including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Bahawalpur. This project will be launched on May 9 and its delivery will start in March.
