Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz while inaugurating the Nigehban Muft Atta relief package said that. It is important for us to provide the necessary items to the poor sections. While assuming the office of the ministry.
We must provide equal rights to all human beings while managing the system of the province. Therefore, free ration and flour will provided to the deserving people while helping the poor sections.
Not only ration and atta will provided under the Nighaban relief package. But Maryam Nawaz in her address has announced that free atta and ration will delivered to the doorsteps of the deserving people. So that women who are unable to meet their needs and help them go to their homes.
Maryam Nawaz said that seeing the poor people standing in lines for the supply of ration and flour makes me very sad. Elderly people are not able to stand in queues due to frailty and are often left behind for the delivery of rations.
Maryam Nawaz, touching the hearts of the poor, said that the ration should delivered to the doorsteps of all people. So that the needy people can fulfill their needs as soon as possible.

وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے نگران ریلیف پیکج کا افتتاح کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزارت کا عہدہ سنبھالتے ہوئے غریب طبقے کو ضروری اشیاء فراہم کرنا ہمارے لیے اہم ہے۔ صوبے کا نظام سنبھالتے ہوئے تمام انسانوں کو مساوی حقوق فراہم کرنا ہمارا فرض ہے۔ اس لیے غریب طبقے کی مدد کرتے ہوئے مستحق لوگوں کو مفت راشن اور آٹا فراہم کیا جائے گا۔
نگران ریلیف پیکج کے تحت نہ صرف راشن اور آٹا فراہم کیا جائے گا. بلکہ مریم نواز نے اپنے خطاب میں اعلان کیا ہے کہ مستحق افراد کی دہلیز پر مفت آٹا اور راشن پہنچایا جائے گا۔ تاکہ وہ خواتین جو اپنی ضروریات پوری کرنے اور ان کی مدد کرنے سے قاصر ہیں وہ اپنے گھر جائیں۔
مریم نواز نے کہا کہ غریب عوام کو راشن اور آٹے کی فراہمی کے لیے لائنوں میں کھڑا دیکھ کر بہت دکھ ہوتا ہے۔ بوڑھے لوگ کمزوری کی وجہ سے قطاروں میں کھڑے نہیں ہو پاتے اور اکثر راشن کی ترسیل کے لیے پیچھے رہ جاتے ہیں۔ مریم نواز نے غریبوں کے دلوں کو چھوتے ہوئے کہا کہ راشن تمام لوگوں کی دہلیز پر پہنچایا جائے تاکہ ضرورت مند افراد جلد از جلد اپنی ضروریات پوری کر سکیں۔

Maryam Nawaz said that only deserving people can get assistance in this program, therefore only those who meet the eligibility criteria can get assistance. Eligibility criteria are set in each program as it is often the poorer sections that are left behind due to poverty. Therefore, a separate relief program has started for the poor sections. In which only the poor classes are assisted.
Eligibility criteria have set in this program which are as follows.
- People whose monthly income is less than 60 thousand or 65 thousand will be eligible for assistance in this program.
- People who are facing extreme financial difficulties and are unable to buy their necessities will given relief under the program.
- Women who are single heads of the household, and are facing financial difficulties, will provided free ration and atta under the Nighaban program.
- Widows who have no family to support them.
- Unemployed persons with no income source and who are distressed due to inflation will assist the Nighaban program.
- Individuals who are eligible for assistance. But do not meet the eligibility criteria must update all of their previous information to become eligible for the program.
- Widows must have a death certificate or a widow’s identity card.
- Individuals who were earlier living well but are now eligible for assistance due to rising inflation and poverty will eligible for assistance after updating their information.
