Ramadan Nighban Relief Package is like a shade tree for poor and deserving people in the harsh sun of poverty. Millions of people of Punjab are benefiting from this program. Maryam Nawaz is monitoring the distribution of the Ramadan Nighaban Relief Packages through live dashboards and sometimes visiting people’s homes.
Maryam Nawaz said during a meeting with ordinary women that I am your servant and am seeing whether your right is reaching you or not.
He said that the Ramadan Nigehbaan relief package will not started to favor anyone. It is the right of the people and I am trying to deliver their right as the Chief Minister. Maryam Nawaz further asked about the quality of the Ramadan package, its delivery process, and the behavior of the staff.
She said that the purpose of my going to people’s houses was to know the problems of housewives.
Maryam Nawaz said that the Ramadan Nighaban relief package is not related to any religious or political party. This package has made for all the deserving people of Punjab without any religious or political affiliation. This program was run in the month of Ramadan, but now the program has run with a slight change.

Eligibility Criteria
To join any aid program, there an eligibility criteria set by this organization. So that the aid can reach the deserving people. So eligibility criteria has kept in the Nighaban program in Ramadan. This program of the Punjab government does not follow any strict eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria have kept very short.
- In this program, people with an income of 60 thousand or less can be eligible and can get special Ramadan assistance.
- Government employees or owners of any valuable property or vehicle will not be eligible for this program.
- People who have traveled abroad or have their passports made will not be eligible for this program.

رمضان نگران ریلیف پیکج غربت کی کڑی دھوپ میں غریب اور مستحق لوگوں کے لیے سایہ دار درخت کی مانند ہے۔ پنجاب کے لاکھوں لوگ اس پروگرام سے مستفید ہو رہے ہیں۔ مریم نواز رمضان المبارک ریلیف پیکج کی تقسیم کے عمل کو لائیو ڈیش بورڈز کے ذریعے مانیٹر کر رہی ہیں اور کبھی لوگوں کے گھروں میں جا رہی ہیں۔ مریم نواز نے عام خواتین سے ملاقات کے دوران کہا کہ میں آپ کی خادمہ ہوں اور دیکھ رہی ہوں کہ آپ کا حق آپ تک پہنچ رہا ہے یا نہیں۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ رمضان نگراں ریلیف پیکیج کسی پر احسان کرنے کے لیے نہیں شروع کیا گیا، یہ عوام کا حق ہے اور میں بطور وزیر اعلیٰ ان کا حق پہنچانے کی کوشش کر رہی ہوں۔ مریم نوازنے مزید رمضان پیکج کے معیار، اس کی ترسیل کے عمل اور عملے کے رویے کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ مریم نواز نے کہا کہ میرا لوگوں کے گھر جانے کا مقصد گھریلو خواتین کے مسائل جاننا تھا۔
اس نے کہا کہ رمضان نگہبان ریلیف پیکیج کا تعلق کسی مذہبی یا سیاسی جماعت سے نہیں ہے۔ یہ پیکج پنجاب کے تمام مستحق افراد کے لیے بغیر کسی مذہبی یا سیاسی وابستگی کے بنایا گیا ہے۔

Distribution Started
The distribution of the Ramadan Caregiver Relief Package has started in some major cities of Punjab from March 5. It has announced by the Government of Punjab that the distribution of this package will formally started from the 2nd of Ramadan.
Maryam Nawaz said that after taking the oath of office, we had only a few days to prepare the Ramadan package. This time we want to deliver Ramadan aid to people’s homes for which more preparation time was required.
We will work day and night to deliver their rights to the poor and deserving people as soon as possible. So that they can benefit from the blessings of Ramadan without facing any problems. Under this scheme, about three lakh hampers have distributed in some cities of Punjab so far.
The eligibility record of people in this program is taken from BISP. It has happened for the first time in the 76-year history of Pakistan that the right of the people has brought to their doorstep. So that they can live with self-respect.

Pilot Project
Maryam Nawaz, while addressing a meeting in Lahore, presented an outline of a pilot project. Under this project, Ramadan aid will delivered to people’s doorsteps. It will started from Lahore. He has pledged zero tolerance for corruption in the distribution system of Ramadan.
The pilot project will play an important role in the decision-making of the Punjab government. Pilot projects enable the government to test services. The Punjab government is using it regularly.

Quantity of Items
A certain amount of items have kept in the Ramadan care package. It is fully monitored so that there is no corruption in aid. One hamper will contain 10 kg of flour, two kg of sugar, two kg of ghee, two kg of gram flour, and two kg of rice.
This aid will offered to the deserving people three times in a phased manner. For its distribution, points will established at the neighborhood level or at the ward level. Where people will get their assistance. Full security will be provided by the police to avoid any emergency or untoward incident.
