Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced the distribution of 3000 electric & petrol motorbikes In each District to students and riders during a recent function. Students living in slums and villages have to go to remote areas to get an education.
Due to a lack of transport resources, many people do not send their children to higher education, The Punjab government has decided to provide electric and petrol motorbikes to attract these people towards higher education. Maryam Nawa said that 3000 motorbikes will distributed among eligible students in each district of Punjab.
19,000 petrol and 1,000 electric motorbikes will given to college and university students by the government of Punjab, to solve their transport problem and help them get a better education. Ms Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that education plays an important role in the development of any country.
We will make every possible effort to provide better education facilities to the future youth of our country and to remove all obstacles in the way of education so that the future of the country can improved.

Down Payment And Monthly Installments
Maryam Nawaz directed the authorities to provide petrol and electric motorbikes to the students on minimum payment terms. He said that the down payment and monthly instalments should kept to a minimum. So that the students belonging to the privileged class can get access easily. Under this scheme, a 25,000 down payment and 10,000 instalments for electric motorbikes and 5,000 rupees for petrol motorbikes per month have been kept. So that the students’ pockets are not burdened with the payment of instalments.

Ms Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized ensuring the high quality of electric and petrol motorbikes and inspected their samples herself. He instructed the officials that the motorcycles should painted green colour as per the logo of the Punjab government. Which will also reflect the provincial government and our green crescent flag.

Maryam Nawaz promised the students that electric and petrol motorbikes would be provided to them without interest on easy monthly instalments. To get the bikes, the students have to register first. After the registration process has completed, their eligibility will assessed. Free motorbike facilities have been provided to the students, now the students will be able to continue their studies.
If they meet the eligibility criteria, they will be able to get electric or petrol motorbikes. To get registered, they have to fill out and submit the registration form along with their valid national identity card, education certificate, and passport-size photographs. And after that, they will get this electric or petrol motorbike.

The Transport Department and Punjab Bank have signed an agreement. Students can easily get the electric and petrol motorbikes provided by the Punjab government through any branch of Punjab Bank near them. Students will instructed to deposit down payments and monthly instalments regularly in Punjab Bank. The payment of down payment and instalments should kept transparent and paid on time.

It has been announced by the Chief Minister of Punjab that the distribution of electric and motorbikes will start from May 19. Students will advised to complete their registration before May. They must be residents of Punjab to get electric and petrol motorbikes. Students residing in provinces other than Punjab will not be able to benefit from this scheme. Maryam Nawaz said that 3000 motorbikes will distributed among eligible students in each district of Punjab.
