Chief Minister Flood Relief Programme
The Punjab government launched its Chief Minister Flood Relief Programme. Heavy rains and flooding have caused a lot of destruction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Punjab government, out of sympathy and brotherhood for the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched the Chief Minister Flood Relief Program. He promised to stand by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during these difficult times.
PDMA, on the instruction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, sent relief material to the affected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa people. The provincial minister of foreign affairs will then hand the relief materials over to the KPK government. Six trucks of relief goods were sent on the orders of the Punjab Minister and more trucks are expected to be sent.

Damages Caused By Floods
Heavy rains and flooding have caused damage in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Around 1210 people, including children and women, have been killed in different accidents. The houses of people were severely damaged, causing around 1370 homeless people and the death of many cattle. The government also released relief funds for flood-affected families and those who died.
The Disaster Food Management Authority, on the orders of the Chief Minister Punjab, has sent trucks with relief goods to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government will receive these trucks and distribute them to flood-affected families to help meet their food needs.

What’s in relief trucks
Maryam Nawaz Sharif of Punjab, expressing sympathy for the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Program. Six trucks containing relief supplies were sent to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under this program. All the essentials are in these trucks. This aid contains about 2500 food baskets, each weighing about 20 kilograms.
The food items provided will suffice to feed the affected people for a few days. These food hampers contain flour, sugar, and ghee as well as rice, gram-dry milk, etc. They will meet the immediate needs of those affected by the floods.
