Good News: Dastak App is a Solution to Citizens’ Problems. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the start of the knock program. Under this, more than 100 facilities of government departments will be provided to people sitting at home. The aim is to save people the hassle of waiting hours for small tasks. Initially, only ten services are being provided to the people under the ‘Dastak program‘.

The first phase of the Punjab Dastak program is being started in Lahore. Its services will be available across the province very soon. In the first phase, more than 10 government services are promised to be delivered to the people at their doorsteps. All citizens of Punjab can get children’s birth certificates, death certificates, divorce certificates, marriage certificates, domiciles, vehicle registrations, vehicle transfers, e-stamp, and all property tax services at home.
In its second phase, police verification, driving license renewal, FIR copy, character certificate, and tenant registration facilities will also provided at home. All citizens of Punjab will be able to avail of more than 10 government services at home.

Maryam Nawaz said during the meeting that highly trained staff will be appointed to the knock program so that people can have easy access to the best facilities.
