Free Meals for Students

The program aims to eliminate malnutrition among children in Pakistan, and provide free food for at least 25 000 students in 100 schools. In the opening ceremony of the Government of Pakistan, the current Education Ministry of Pakistan Shafqat Mhmood announced that “Allah Wala Trust” will provide free food to students.

The Minister of Education said that poverty was a major reason due to which many male and female students were unable to study, and were out of school. To solve their problems, the education sector offered many services. Free books, educational scholarships, and transport facilities have been provided to the children.
So that all obstacles in the way of education can removed. The Education Minister said that this is the first step in providing free lunches to children in primary and secondary schools. This program will soon introduced in all schools of Pakistan.

حکومت پاکستان نے تعلیم کے میدان میں بہت سی سہولیات فراہم کی ہیں. غریب اور مستحق لوگوں کے بچوں کے لیے تعلیم حاصل کرنا آسان بنا دیا ہے۔ حکومت پاکستان نے سرکاری تعلیمی اداروں کے طلباء کے لیے مفت کھانا فراہم کرنے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ اس کا مقصد پاکستان میں بچوں کی غذائیت کی کمی کو دور کرنا, اور تقریباً 100 سکولوں میں کم از کم 25 ہزار طلباء کو مفت کھانا کھلانا ہے۔ حکومت پاکستان کے اس قدم کی افتتاحی تقریب منعقد ہوئی. جس میں پاکستان کے موجودہ وزیر تعلیم شفقت محمود نے کہا کہ ’’اللہ والا ٹرسٹ‘‘ کے تعاون سے طلبہ کو مفت کھانا فراہم کیا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ایسے فلاحی ادارے ہمارے لیے مشعل راہ ہیں۔ وزیر تعلیم نے کہا کہ غربت ایک بڑی وجہ ہے. جس کی وجہ سے بہت سے مرد اور خواتین طالب علم تعلیم حاصل کرنے سے قاصر تھےاور اسکول سے باہر تھے۔ ان کے مسائل کے حل کے لیے شعبہ تعلیم نے بہت سی خدمات پیش کیں۔ بچوں کو مفت کتابیں، تعلیمی وظائف اور ٹرانسپورٹ کی سہولیات فراہم کی گئی ہیں۔ تاکہ تعلیم کی راہ میں حائل تمام رکاوٹوں کو دور کیا جا سکے۔ وزیر تعلیم نے کہا کہ پرائمری اور سیکنڈری سکولوں میں بچوں کو مفت لنچ فراہم کرنے کا یہ پہلا قدم ہے۔ یہ پروگرام جلد ہی پاکستان کے تمام سکولوں میں متعارف کرایا جائے گا۔
