A major initiative of the Punjab government is Free Medicine Supply to the people at their homes. Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif during the address said that free medicines will be provided to the patients of old diseases in Punjab at their homes.
We started the program of free medicines supply long back but the previous governments scrapped it. The current government has not only reactivated this program. Rather, its scope has extended to all major cities of Punjab.
About two lakh patients who are deprived of medicines will provided with free medicines at their homes. About two lakh patients in Punjab will get a stock of free medicines at their homes.

Special Relief For Patients
Punjab has taken many initiatives to provide special relief to the patients. The Clinic on Wells project was launched to bring health services to people at their homes. Field Hospital
Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the establishment of about 32 field hospitals in the province. He said that field hospitals will have all health facilities and highly trained medical staff will appointed. These field hospitals will provide all the health services to the people easily.
Free medicines, ultrasound, X-rays, and all the facilities of test laboratories will be available in the field hospitals. Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that fed hospitals will established in all districts of the province so that people do not have to go far to get health services.
