Punjab Set to Reintroduce Complimentary Wi-Fi in Public SpacesChief Minister Punjab has launched Punjab Free Wi-Fi for the residents of Punjab. Under this project, free Wi-Fi will provided to all the residents of Punjab, from which they will able to benefit. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has given free Wi-Fi for the first time in Lahore. Residents of Punjab will be able to get free Wi-Fi and residences in Lahore are provided with free Wi-Fi at 10 public points.
It is planned to expand this project across Punjab in the coming days, and it has been announced that around 516 Wi-Fi points will be installed across Punjab. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz assured in her victory speech that she will distribute free laptop schemes and iPads to all students while taking charge of her ministry. They also intend to provide better facilities to all the people.

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے پنجاب کے رہائشیوں کے لیے پنجاب فری وائی فائی کا آغاز کر دیا۔ اس منصوبے کے تحت پنجاب کے تمام رہائشیوں کو مفت وائی فائی فراہم کی جائے گی جس سے وہ مستفید ہو سکیں گے۔ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے لاہور شہر میں پہلی بار مفت وائی فائی کی سہولت دے دی۔ پنجاب کے رہائشی مفت وائی فائی حاصل کر سکیں گے اور لاہور میں رہائش گاہوں کو 10 پبلک پوائنٹس پر مفت وائی فائی فراہم کی جا رہی ہے۔
اس منصوبے کو آنے والے دنوں میں پنجاب بھر میں وسعت دینے کا منصوبہ ہے اور اعلان کیا گیا ہے کہ پنجاب بھر میں لگ بھگ 516 وائی فائی پوائنٹس لگائے جائیں گے۔ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے اپنی جیت کی تقریر میں یقین دہانی کرائی ہے کہ وہ اپنی وزارت کا چارج سنبھالتے ہوئے تمام طلباء میں مفت لیپ ٹاپ سکیم اور آئی پیڈ تقسیم کریں گی۔ ان کے ساتھ ساتھ تمام لوگوں کو بہتر سہولیات فراہم کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتے ہیں۔
